Gin & Gin Drinks Course Length: 3 Hours

Juniper based elixirs became popular in the fourteenth century, when the Black Death arrived in Europe. The Juniper berry had many medicinal purposes, and the alcohol it was in, was just a way of preserving the Juniper. By the late fifteenth century Gin was not just used as a health tonic but had also become a popular intoxicant.

We’ll chat about the interesting history of Gin and what makes a Gin a Gin, the line for this has become a little blurred with rise in popularity of the New Western style Gins.

We’ll taste the different styles and learn which drink they are best suited to.

  • Gin Bramble
  • Breakfast Martini

This is a hands-on course where you’ll be behind the bar of a working Cocktail Bar learning how to mix your new favourite Gin drinks.

$150 per person inclusive GST

If you don’t have six people to do the course with, we have a list you can join where we will put six people together once there are enough subscribers and it will cost $150 each.
